At UHD, the Blackboard learning management system provides a robust set of web-based communication and teaching tools that support online, hybrid and face-to-face courses.  During this roundtable discussion, faculty and students will share their experiences and ideas regarding Blackboard teaching activities that enhance student engagement in the learning process.  The role played by Blackboard and other online tools in connecting with contemporary students, as well as the opportunities this portends, also will be discussed.
